Pirates of the Carribean, Dead Man's Chest

First off, if you have seen the first one, get it and see it before you go to this movie.
Movie is as compairitable as Matrix #2, good story-line NUMEROUS sub-plots with each major character having his or her own "complications" to resolve.
Tremendous set-up for a third movie.
I say if your into the Pirates motif:

Worth Paying Full Price and Paying for the Date and Refreshments.

my son has seen twice already and loved it. Just says that the ending is cut short and leaves you hangin for the third one. May have to go check this one out.

Thumbs up Definitely a "partial" episode

I loved it. We all sat down and watched the first one again before going...of course. Good thing, too. there are alot of references to dialogue in the first movie that you wouldn't get if you hadn't seen it, or hadn't even seen it recently. It leaves you hanging, that's for sure, but more along the lines of Star Wars, in that it a segment of a bigger story. I don't mind, provided that Pirates #3 delivers.

also, be sure to wait until the credits finish....there's a cute additional shot at the end of what happens to the "key dog"

I thought it was great, nice to have a summer blockbuster with a plot that really flows along. The ending does leave you hanging for the next one, which is the one thing I didn't like. It left me a little too much over the edge, I think they could have finalized the movie a little more, while still giving it the left open effect. I missed the part at the end of the credits, I'll have to jump into the end of one next time I see a movie, thanks for the heads up on that. I love that dog, if you have ever been on the Pirates of the Carribean ride at Disneyland, it's straight out of it. In the first movie where the guys in the cell are trying to coax the dog over, it's taken from a setup of puppets you pass on the way through.

It was a very good movie. I agree with Warped they left teh end way too open. I mean it's great to leave it open for the next one but they left you hanging too much on everything. I thought the movie was a little dragged out though, alot of the stuff about the chest was repeated WAY too much, they pretty much just stretched it out more than it should have been.

Well first off....its called "pirate of the caribbean the dead man's chest" there is no "dead man" in this movie. And yall say it has subplots...it has like 10 plots in the movie. Is really good but i dont like how it makes u want to see the third one really bad
