Shrek the Third

I liked the first two Shrek movies, so I was pretty excited about seeing the third. I took my girlfriend, and even bought a large diet coke to enjoy with the 5:00 show . And if it wasn't for the 40 kids in the audience giggling, I would have fallen asleep in it. It wasn't close to as good as the first or second shrek. I was dissapointed overall, but it had its funny moments. It was just hard to match the high mark the first two movies created. But honestly, it fell way short.

Ranking: If you rent it, I'll watch it.

I saw it as well...and agree totally.

Could've been a lot better, but it was missing something...

Saw it today. Seemed really short. Had some funny moments, it just didn't seem like an adventure compared to the other 2 movies.

Looks like this movie is just riding the name! I saw it on friday with the kids and the story was really lacking. Shrek should stick with PSA about fat kids!

Shrek needs to be scary again, not an advice-giving teddy bear. Also, I hated Justin Timberlake as Arthur... Arthur is cool and legendary, JT is a pansy.

I concur, took the kids to see it the other day, it sucked!

I think the cost of the tickets for me, the old lady and the 3 kids + popcorn, soda and all the other health food we got at the movies cost more than the creation of shrek 3.

Supposedly there is a Shrek 4 in the works.

And I will definitely be there to see that movie, if there is a Shrek 4. They just need to do some major rethinking, and put some major thought into the next movie. They can make another good movie by:

1) Giving donkey more lines (he's hilarious)
2) Introduce another character, like Puss was introduced in the 2nd movie
3) Have a real, adventurous plotline
4) Make Shrek a monster again
5) Less humans, they look too real and sort of creepy...
6) Some other things

i agree if they make a 4th i'll be in line to see it as well, but they definatly need to work on "#6 Some other things"!
