Smile Silly Ground Controlers

This is another shot video from Military.com of Ground controlers being silly . It is funny and it just goes to show how bored our troops are...

That video is just another shot at the chair force. First, they are what we call plane captains in the Navy. Ground controllers work in the control tower. Second, did anyone else notice the numerous violations? Foam fingers would definately be a no no in the Navy (FOD hazard). Also, I would hope the planes were taxiing for departure. The second one still had the pins in.
With that said, I certainly understand you have to do what you can to keep your sanity in a boring place like the desert. Heck, we made a map of the U.S. with the Mississippi river depicted out of the bottle water they gave us. Of course we didn't receive the water until we were almost back in port after leaving Kuwait. They said we needed it up north with all of the oil slicks created by the oil well fires at the time. I remember brushing my teeth and looking at the oil floating in the sink.....Yum!
