Overall I liked it. The emo peter scenes on the street could have been tossed out though.
Venom was ok. His character wasn't built up right, and he looked too small for what I'd expect of venom.

True, true, and true.

A few people liked it when Peter went emo and messed up everything, but I could've done without it. I really wish, like someone said earlier, that Venom would have gotten a lot more time in the movie than he did. Although, I thought they did a great job on Venom's face, he looked freakin' awesome, he should have been more built like in the comics...but yeah...I thought it was a good movie. I felt it was 7.00 well spent.

i liked the movie,the scenes on the street that everyone is mentioning were VERY lame.But overall,as a comic collector,I liked it.Venom looked more like carnage in a red suit but overall it was cool.I would like to see a movie devoted to venom and one devoted to sandman but I will be happy with the combination

I want to see a movie with carnage, now that you brought that character up. Probably have to go to an R rating to really bring him to life, which I don't see this franchise doing.

I just found this on some random website...don't know if it's true or not...but think what you will...

"Our regular scooper tells FreezeDriedMovies that plans are underway for Spider-Man 4, which were (obviously) set up in the third film. In the third entry, Dr. Curt Connors (played by Dylan Baker) looks at a piece of symbiote with Peter Parker. The movie then travels along it's path without another mention of that "piece" of symbiote. This is the set up for Spider-Man 4 where that small piece of alien symbiote becomes CARNAGE. I could see how the Lizard is going to come into play with the piece of symbiote in the doctors hands, but I have no idea how Carnage is going to fit into all of this. But I'd love to see him in a movie. Maybe Venom comes back and teams up with Spiderman to defeat Carnage and Lizard? That'd be nifty.

errr it was abuot what i expected, and i didnt expect much. it was a comic book... im ALL about some redheaded kirstin dunst...but she looked kind of pasty for most of the movie...

Nice find Sittin_duk! Carnage and Conners would be a good combo.
Imagine if they hired on Todd McFarlane to work on Carnage's appearance.
