I've been a Boston fan since I was a teenager. I received thier first album as a gift from a friend. I never saw the band perform until about 2 years ago when they played a show at the Beau Rivage in Biloxi, MS. It was as if I had stepped back in time. They sounded just like thier records were playing. Brad Delp had probably the most incredible voice in rock and roll. I believe this is a terrible loss to the music world generally and rock and roll specifically. This news article labeled Delp " the nicest man in rock and roll." I'm inclined to agree because after that show in Biloxi he was the only one who would sign the album I had given to me so many years ago. Rest in peace Brad Delp.

I find it hard to believe sometimes when folks that are SOOOO well off take their own life. I do realize it's a sickness and being rich doesn't matter in the least bit but its still hard for me to comprehend.
