paintball tips

>>TIPS & TACTICS<<

MUSIC Soothes even the savage beast...or amps him up to wreak havoc
on the field. Just like exercise gets the blood pumping so you start
faster and run harder off the break, music can have a tremendous
effect in waking you up on the way to the field and motivating you as
the long days wear on. Make paintball a special event for you and your
friends by burning a special CD of songs that make you want to just
tear that field up, and play it on the way to the field. You won't
fall asleep on the way, and when you start dragging in the afternoon,
pop in some headphones and listen to that mix on a CD or MP3 player
while you're cleaning your gear in the staging area. There's nothing
like the right full sensory experience to really get you going.

good tip. is this gonna be one of those "tip threads" where people put valuable advice they've learned?

Drew is dead on with this thread. A lot of people dont realize just how much music effects us. Before I started doing some things different in my life I use to get into a good bit of fights in high school. If I knew someone was waiting on me at school monday morning becasue of something that happened that weekend I would listen to metallica or rage against the machine or limp bizquit (power music) full blast all the way to school that morning and I was cranked when I got there. Me and my brother in law have a CD that we burned that is our "duck hunting CD". (you mihgt be a redneck) When it is three in the morning and we are headed to the river to beat the rush we pop it in and get pumped and it keeps us awake driving down the road. My lab even gets into it. LOL....

This is a good tip Drew...

although if it has been a tough day of paintball and the attitudes are on edge with some people I may start pumping out some soothing music across the playing fields..lol...everyone would be cleaning their guns and putting up their gear to the sound of Frank Sinatra...lol....that would be kinda funny....Maybe one of those nature tapes where the birds are chirping and you can hear the soothing wind...lol.....

well, My two-cents for a good paintball tip would be to find a good mask that doesn't fog up!!!

and bring an extra len's/mask. If the one you have isn't doing good, then first see if certain anti-fog stuff works and if not, go by another mask that doesn't fog up! It hinder's your playing.

Well I have to agree with my friend Steers on this one. The maskis your MOST emportant piece of equipment. Sxtras are a must. If I had not had my extar lens at the MOUNT site this year I would have been in trouble. I had a film on my lens you could not get off & had to switch'em out
