u need a mask not a helmet, i hope u meant mask but yeah, most shots on me are on the mask or gloves. gloves make more bounces. only one ball has broken when i've had gloves on

OMG! I got the most awesome gloves-> not intended for sports. But they are soft, comfy, they breathe, but are warm. They do not obstruct my trigger access at all and provide excellent grip for when my gun gets slimed in paint after a splatter shower on the front lines. Also, when shot in the hand (OUCH!!!) they provide such excellent protection it doesn't even hurt, or welt. Gurly Gloves Yay!!!

Arrow Mask

Ok, so my Captain has enough gear to supply an entire army so he lets me grab my choice of mask when we play, but I keep running into some issues.

#1.) The inner foam lining really makes my face itch. One has more of a rubbery foam that is better, but still really uncomfortable for me. What is the difference between EnsoliteFaceFoam and ET 200 FaceFoam? What other kinds of lining are available?

#2.) Even w antifog juice I fog at night really bad. At the free finale I couldnt see my hand 6 inches in front of my face. I hear well so stayed about 2 feet behind my capt for a long hike and even managed to take a couple dudes out in a fire fight, but my capt got hit and I was abandoned. I got so lost and I was totally blinded. I couldnt even see glow sticks to locate a reff until I colided w one. I know there are thermal lenses available, but I've heard that some are better than others and I'm not familiar enough to know what I should get.

#3.) my head straps slip and come loose like mad... can I do sumthing about that or is my only option for good head grip shaving my head?

Helmet

Ok, so reading the whole helmet thing made me laugh... but this weekend I got a concusion (headache, double vision, uneven pupils and memory loss included) from stumbling close range into a fire fight (5-8 ft apart, approx 20 people between both sides) and taking sum shots to the top of the head, temple, side of head. Owie, Owie, Owie!!! No I didn't cry, u big bully!

Does n e one make thick/padded/protective but breathable beanies, maybe?

WoW

Why the heck does it say squeegie under my name? I'm not a squeegie , I am a :p PRINCESS :p !

N e ways, comment on dude who says wear elbo pads, knee pads, neck pads, shin gaurds, arm pads, butt pads, etc and "i mean why make paintball hurt more than it has to"...

Pads, protective gear {other than head gear (including most gloves)} totally can get in the way and hold u back . They diminish stealth, speed, make u sweat, snag on things, esp when guttin low... from my experience paddings are all around a pain in the... uhm... giggles. If I thought u boys could handle playing w me in a bikini, I so would... way less holding ya back.

Also, DUDE !!! Paintball is supposed to hurt . Ok, so there is a lil stinging involved, the pain lets u know ur doin' a good job . R u hurt or are u injured? If u aint hurt, u aint playin' hard enough. :icon16:

Last one tonight, boiz I promise! My mostest favoritest paintball equiptment out of n e thing I have ever tried speedball, scenario, or just recreational BSing in the sticks---> Once, I left my game shoes at the hotel, but my old hs wrestling shoes were shoved in the mess that is my bf's trunk. OMG!!! Nukkah, lemme tell ya! Amazing grip and feel and comfort (accept for the occasional toe stubbing or foot shot). At night I can be dead silent, my feet can move as if they were bare but have match pending death grip and serious protection. Also, I've heard people complain they get bruises and or blisters around the ankle or back of the heal, even w kleats and special sporting shoes, hunting shoes... these offer outstanding ankle support with out restriction of high topped boots and dont rub or chafe.

There is nothing I would recommend more than a good pair of Aasics ...accept for Platex gentle glide, but I doubt u gentlemen have a use for those, lol.

PS dont forget to tape ur laces

Anggel,

The best non-fogging goggles I've used in the 16 years I've been playing are VENTS goggles unfortunately they are no longer made because Scotts owns the rights to the mask and the original inventor owns the rights to the lens. If you can find a sent and unused lenses you'd be extremely lucky since they are also the most comfortable goggles I've tried. The Profiler goggle is a very comfortable goggle and has some good anti-fog characteristics. I have a set and like them but have had some fogging issues if I sat still too long this last weekend. This could be easily corrected with adapting a crosswind fan to the goggle top and/or trying some RainX anti-fog as some other players have recommended. Another trick to try and reduce fogging is to use a little unscented antiperspirant on your cheeks and brow. This works real well but make sure you use UNSCENTED otherwise your it'll make your eyes water
