dwell?
Ive been playing for a few years, But Ive never had to set the dwell on any of my markers. I didnt have to deal with it on my spyder and my ION came mint right out of the box. but I just bought a Lasoya Promaster and i have no idea on what to look for in setting the dwell.
So i guess my question is, What is dwell? What does it do? And how do I know what to set it at? Any help would be appreciated. Thanx |

Dwell is how long the marker's hammer 'dwells' on the valve when it's pushed forward during the firing cycle. It basically controls how much air goes through the valve during the firing cycle. It's expressed as a time (milliseconds) and optimal dwell varies from marker to marker. Why precisely are you looking to adjust your dwell? If the gun's having a hard time getting up to velocity, or if it's chopping alot, you may want to bump up your dwell a couple of milliseconds to help out. Otherwise it's not something you need to tweek on a whole lot.

Call paintball solutions or 1800paintball and ask for a tech...they can walk you through the settings if needed.
