Scenario Games - How do they work?

Hey guys, I've played paintball a couple times with some friends but have recently decided to get more into the game. I think right now my interest is more in woodsball but I'm curious as to how Scenario games work. Essentially i guess Im just looking for a complete explaination of rules and how scenario games are played and how long the games last etc. etc.

scenarios

I'm sure I will miss something but here it goes. Most scenarios start on a saturday at noon and run until sunday the next day and end at noon. You will take two breaks in the game. One in the afternoon on sat. say around 6pm to recrono your marker to 250fps (for night time play) and to get a bite to eat and then restart around 8pm. The game will generally end for the night between midnight and 2am then restart again on sunday morning around 8 am. This is how it works for 24hr games, you can have shorter games 12hr, 10hrs or whatever. Most game will have a couple teams and will complete missions for points, all the while the other team is trying to keep you from completing your mission. The team at the end who have accumulated the most points wins the game. These games can bring in from a few hundred players to over a thousand players. There is normally a story line behind each scenario. A common one is D-Day, one team will be Allied and the other Germans. If you are looking to have a good time I personally recommend Paintball Charleston. It is close to you and they have experienced staff and very good prices. You won't regret it.

To add to what Protocol has described, I would recommend visiting PBjunkie links. For example: http://www.pbjunkie.com/links/showli...ls&l=5&catid=2

Also, do a search of the forums for scenario rules, etc.
