Ego, They are more efficient, easy to work on(Low maintenance) It takes me roughly 5 min. to dissassemble clean and reassamble my ego. As far as price wise you can pick up a used '05 ego pretty cheap & they are very good markers. Eteks are good also they just dont have LCD boards or Qev's. But they are still good markers.

The mini's are good markers they are compact, light, fairly efficient and are $400 new.

E-tek is much better than a mini for performance and ease of maintenance...remember you get what you pay for.

If you have big hands, a mini might take some getting used to, as the gun is extremely compact.
A new mini or a used etek won't be too far apart in cost. If you buy the mini new from a store, you will gain their support with it if you are unsure on marker maintenance.

A Etek is a ego if you didn't know. Currently in production is the 07 ego and the etek. Both are made by the same people.

i have an Ego7 and an invert mini- i love both, but for the ego price i could have a mini and 2 back up minis...

out of experiance...the ego is more accurate but it is louder and less efficiant by a long shot...the mini is smaller quieter and more efficient...i would take an ego over a mini anyday though...more of a reputation and easier to find parts and upgrades for...
