Rain. You brought up lenses, Marty and Scott. Got a good story for ya about Vents goggles...the original ones; and why they are no more. Up for it?
Yeah, I used to sell Ultra. I still have baseball cards in Cal-Mag 200 ct boxes, 12 to "footlocker" case!. Here's one for ya. Coconut, Blueberry, Raspberry, Lemon, Grape. Who made it? Best loaders and tubes ever made...Nasty Boys. You could park a truck on them. greg@pbjunkie.com It's true married men live longer than single men...but married men are much more willing to die. ![]() ] |

Vents was originally started as a ski goggle and the 2 brothers that owned Vents made paintball lenses and subsequently, a ton of money. 1 brother was allegedly pilfering from the company and eventually Vents was brought to it's financial knees. Scott offered to buy Vents and eventually did so for a bunch of cash. 1 brother dissappeared and the remaining brother was brought in to court by Scott for not turning over all of the molds for the frames. Supposedly, the 1 brother has ADD and was afforded a civil service lawyer at no charge to fight Scott. After months of fighting about who owned what and why, Scott was awarded the molds and the brother in posession of them complied...right after he took them and had them crushed in to a solid block. He sent it to Scott and I believe to this day, it's a doorstop somewhere in Scott HQ. Scott still owned the Vents name but didn't/couldn't retool the original molds so Vents dissappeared. That is until a major "national" distributor completely reinvented them, bought the Vents name and voila'...
Vents is back. greg@pbjunkie.com It's true married men live longer than single men...but married men are much more willing to die. ![]() ] |
