YES! I was hit under the SNAPPER face plate when I was twelve and had braces. I am 30 now and still have a couple of scars on the inside of my cheeks from those days. Thank god we only had single shot pistols then. I would have hated taking 10-15 in the face with braces. That hurt!

I have it on pretty good authority that neither Lou (from Gramps and Grizzly) nor Glenn Palmer (PPS) invented the autotrigger. There was a company called The Adventurer and Suppliers Outfitter that had 2 divisions; east (NH) and west (CA). Matt Brown from the West (in collaboration with a machinist), is the answer. That company was later referred to as TASO split up and was subsequently asbsorbed by (one of) the NPS'.
