Oh yeah...You might be old school if you've ever shot or been shot by Bullseye Iodine blue or red paint..and have the stained Tiger Stripes to prove it..

...if the 7oz on your VM-68 ever froze to your cheek...

...if you ever played in goggles you bought at a hardware store...

...if "speed ball" meant you were high off your remote leak...

...if 'drop forward' meant you fell down...

...if 'stiffi' meant...well...

...if 'sticky grips' meant you forgot to wash your hands...

I'm sure I will think of some more later.

And on the pedestal these words appear:

"My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!"
Nothing beside remains: round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare,
The lone and level sands stretch far away
.

As a matter of fact yes. He helped bring the sport mainstream in a way by being an easily recoginizable figure in the sport, but not always in a good way as with any "popular" player.

if the lenses you need for your main goggles have been unavailable for the past 12 or so years you are old school.
