I think I could agree with that. I consider myself "old school" but I sure as heck didn't have to use non-washable paint. I might be "old school" but when I started playing at least the hopper was in use (even if not in common use). There's a whole 'nother level of old school older than me.

Gotta get in on this.

You know who Navarone was.
You remember when Line SI Bushmasters and PMI Piranhas were new.
You remember the match between Sudden Death and Navarone to determine which was better, 12 gram or constant air.
You remember Ricky Schroeder (recently on NYPD Blue) as a young kid on the same team as Youngblood.
You remember when constant air was going to "ruin the sport". (The same has been said about semi and electro markers and we're still here).

BTW,I still have my ICS vest, and I played on the home field of Unified Action when I was a cadet at the Citadel. And for the record, I wasn't at Lazarus (didn't start playing scenarios til Without Remorse.)

OK...now I feel old...where's my rocking chair?

You are "OLD SCHOOL"
If you played at "Island Adventure" on "Sneeds Island" Palmetto Florida!!!

You are "OS" if you Played at the "Survival Zone" at "Ocala Florida" in the "Longest Night" or " The Hunt for Che Guevara". I still miss Linnie! Where the heck is Doc?

You are "OS" if your first Gun/Marker- Gravity Feed & Constant Air was an afterthought.

If you had the very very first "Auto Trigger" on the East Coast of the United States and Remember who "Gramps and Grizzley" are???...

You are "OS" if the worst hit you ever took came from a Nelspot or Splatmaster...

Your are "OS" if you remember Nelspots before they had pumps on them...

You are "OS" if you still have the very first Paintball Magazine, "Action Persuit Games" Paintball and Lazer sports...1987, I do...

Let me see. I bought my first gun new and it was a PG. I bought it with some shop goggles and a copy of The Survival Game. I still have the book and it lists every paintball field in the U.S. That was before Sheridan started putting pumps on them. I still use it by the way. A good friend of mine was on Navarone. I have gone to Gramps and Grizzly for old parts in the past. Ricky Shroeder....I remember him from Silver Spoons, not NYPD Blue....lol Yet I am still younger that Junkie.....

There was a shop nearby that hd a couple of the Navarone cockers up on the wall. I bought my first marker at Gramps and Grizzly's when they were right by SC Village.

Don't forget the punch and shoot Splatmasters with the 10 round tube, which outperformed the Crossman 3357 50cal revolvers..................

I still have one of those splatmasters that I bought off Brain six or seven years ago. Heck, it was way old school then.

Might be old school when paint pellits where used to mark soon to be cut down trees, and never thought of as a form of fun.
(Yeah I know I'm not old, but I read the History books)
