Apologies to Russian General!
I was a sniper for the Germans at Stalingrad. At around 10:30 on Sunday, I was lucky enough to sneak up behind the Russian general up on Hill 103 and get a shot at him. My shot must have hit him although I didn't see the break. He stood up, turned around and raised his hand and said something to me but I couldn't understand what he said. After a pregnant second or two I figured out that he thought I was on his team and he was telling me not to shoot at him again. So I took another shot and pinged him on the collarbone. (I know that hit had to smart). In the heat of the moment and with adrenaline rushing, sharp words were exchanged.
In retrospect, it is obvious to me that the general was calling himself out and furthermore was showing outstanding sportsmanship by attempting to call himself out without alerting his teammates to my presence. Though it was not intended, I rewarded his sportmanship with a painful overshot. So with that story told, I wanted to once again apologize to Mario for the unintended overshot and especially to personally thank him for the outstanding sportsmanship he was displaying in attempting to not alert his teammates. Salute Mario!

Thanks for the kind words and the compliment...it takes real sportsman to say such things....however you must have shot one of my xo's because on Sunday I never left the command bunker until 11:05 when they gave me the final mission...and then I went right up the main road and right upto the Germen base as my men had already taken it...from the moment I walked into the base I was surrouned by security and was not let out on the bunker...unfortunitly I did not fire a single round on Sunday except to check my gun....once again your a real sport to have said what you said...hope to see you again at some other game...
ps. on Sat. I lead one mission up hill 103 and thought I would die...I was thankful I only had to do that once..that hill was a bear for an old fart like me... see you again mario |

Aerion,
Thanks for the apology. I must also apologize. The words used on Sunday could have "set off" a lesser man. That was Frank the other voice in my head speaking. You showed alot of class. Yes, the bonus ball got my attention, but its all good. Getting hit is half the fun (masochist Frank). I made sure you guys got credit for a great sneak/kill. I told Ben to count the kill. (wasn't sure the ref would follow through). Anyway , I had a great time and look forward to a repeat in the future. Thanks, Dogg {Team Bodycount} LoL - In hindsite, the funniest thing was you balling the ref after getting me. He was speechless. S**t happens? |

But he's lucky. At least I was using a pump gun.
