Oops there's that song again:
Down, down in the basement
We hear the sound of machines
I, I, I'm driving in circles
Come to my senses sometimes.

Roadkill already has 2 - anti-tank guns (courtesy of Brain and PBC) and we never got to use them at the FREE Finale!

We (ROADKILL) are going Brain is bringing his tank he had down for Free Finale and I'll tow/carry the anti-tank guns if we want and need them. They are accurate as hell and easily hauled by a Mule.

As a licensed potato observer I noticed most paintball artillery just sits in a game because it's modeled after real artillery which is well behind the lines of action. This is not the case for paintball...it's got to be up close and personal and while real designs make marginal cover they're impossible to use when you need them... when the action gets close.

At Typhoon I got a test of what is really needed for a cannon (frozen tank in the ground thank you Ben) and I'm going to raise the operational effectiveness of the 'real' artillery design to something frighteningly effective.

Design Criteria:

1) Light and portable with wheels for towing or pushing by 1 player.
2) Total cover for 2 hombre's 270 degrees. Let's get real close.
3) Monster gun (this is what it's all about).
4) Assembly required. Should occupy just a bit of small space in a pickup or van.
5) Some cover for sharpshooters. Make their Laws Guy suffer.
6) Everyone signed a wavier. Make them remember why. muhhahahahaha

The 2 Brain made are made to use from semi-fixed ambush sites. One guy can operate and aim but would take two to move easily and the ultimate is to use our little APC (Mule) for long distance re-deploy. We had ours positioned at the free finally to begin with to protect the "tank" approach to our base but alas Bobio's monster needs a FREEWAY to go anywhere. Brains "Sherman" did quite a good job keeping the "tank battle" away from our base so they never came into play but would have if we could have used against fixed structures. I'm going to see about some small "Laws" to use in support of our tanks too. Damn I love to tinker.
