my team and i played a tournament with this paint recently. it was not freezing cold, but we expcted it to be and thats y we were using it. i would say that it was... 45 at the start of the day and around 60 at the end. the paint shot amazing and had not a single chop or barrel break. the only downside that i saw was that when the ball busted, only about half of the fill came out, but it was still enough to call someone out. overall this was great paint.

What is the difference between a cold weather paintball and any other type of paintball?

Cold weather balls are a bit hardier. Summer paints will become very fragile in colder weather, and break in the markers.
Paint manufacturers have slightly different formulas for the different seasons, this cold weather paint is along the same lines.
