The rumors had been flying around since long before the AvPvM2 game back in Sept. Most of us that knew kept our mouths shut as much as possible just to quell the rumor mill. However Hoop didn't say anything mainly because of the attempts in negotiations to try and secure the lease for the future and to at least get the last games of this year honored through the current lease.

With a new landowner, ultimately, thats what stopped the games. There's actually 2 landowners, and neither whats anything to do with a paintball field.

24hours is still going, but now looking for a new field, possibly to own outright. The player base is still there... it's just a matter of rebuilding on a new field.. once thats located.

So, if you know of a tract of land 75 acres+ with around 5+ acres of parking/camping area.. let Hoop know.

what does every one think of a field in Gadsden Alabama. My father inlaw owns 14.3 ackers there and we are talking of starting a 24 hour game there any feed back would be helpfull.

15 Acres is a little small, for a major event. However, if you are looking for a small group game it might not be too bad depending on terrain features.

depending on how thing go there is the possibility of leasing more land. i posted a game on the calender check out the link you can see the land is prime for paintball the link has a satalite image of the land.
