Archon sponsors foolybear

For Immediate Release

In a bold move to support the growing recreational and scenario market, Archon Paintball, the world’s largest paintball distributor, has signed on as a head-to-toe sponsor of one of paintball’s most prolific journalists and hardcore scenario enthusiast, Jason “foolybear” Lineberger. The forward-thinking industry leaders at Archon understand that the majority of paintballers enjoy the sport as walk-on players at local fields or in scenario and big games. T

hey have chosen Lineberger to showcase their top-of-the-line products as he participates in a packed schedule for 2008 that will include over 20 of the best scenario and big game events in the country. Few scenario players get in as much paintball as foolybear, and the equipment Archon carries meets his exacting standards. Lineberger will hit the field wearing Chronic Game Gear and shooting the Dangerous Power Threshold.

For the more mil-sim events, foolybear will be bringing out the TACAMO Type-68. Jay Muncaster of Archon Paintball says, “Jason is well-respected and known in the woodsball scene. Our decision to support him was based on the positive influence he brings to paintball on all levels. He genuinely wants everyone to have the greatest time playing whether it's their first time or if they are seasoned professionals." Lineberger will put the Archon products to the test as he battles it out everywhere from the lowlands of the southeast to the hills of the north and the deserts of the southwest. “I can’t imagine a better fit for a scenario player, team or local field than Archon,” says Lineberger, “whether you want to go for mil-sim realism, classic woodsball, the challenges of scenario, or the high energy of tournament-style play.”

Well aint that cool! Love the man's work in the mags. Glad to see the industry can support someone that supports the game and players as much as he does.

Well deserved.
