Northern Territory Politicians are so enthused about paintball legislation introduced into parliament today that one's even suggested having a game on the floor the house.
The legislation will make paintball legal in the NT and the Opposition's Terry Mills says it would really liven things up.
"I think parliament house would be an excellent place to conduct a game of paintball the dye that is used in these little pellets is biodegradable, it can be cleaned off the panels," he said.
The Gaming Minister Chris Burns didn't go that far but would quite like to take some pot shots at the Opposition.
"I suppose if someone invited me along I would go along for a game," he said.
Terry Mills has issued that invitation.
"I am waiting for a response from the minister to accept that invitation to participate in one of the first games of paintball in the Northern Territory," he said.
Paintball should be legal by the end of the year.
