Boston Area Senator files Bill to Ban 18 YO w/PB Markers

According to the Lowell Sun, a Boston area Senator has filed a bill that, if passed, would ban teenagers under 18 from possessing or firing a paintball marker unless under the direct supervision of an adult.

Bet the local hunting and safety classes will fill up since
"Teenagers who have a sporting or hunting license would be exempt."

I guess it's the same group that applauded Barack "Non-Patriot Muslim" Obama on Saturday Night Live; the show I USED to watch...

the thing is- its already illegal to do those stupid things... so making it illegal to possess them, is not gonna disuade anyone. the SAME stupid kids are going to break the law by possessing the markers, then break the law again by shooting cars, people, animals etc. its just ****in stupid... raising the age to 18 for sale of spray paint did not stop graffiti... not even a little. this, like most restrictive laws on possession of taboo items, will only make things difficult on those who are already law-abiding citizens.
kinda like gun laws... the only people that follow them are the ones who shouldn't have to. its the degenerates and morons who bring this on us, and rest assured, they'll continue on as normal, feeling no effect from this law. its sickening.

I must 100% agree with crooked butt doctor. Now matter what the government does to "prevent" more incidents like that happen, there will still be morons that are going to break the new law and the continue to break the old ones.

Believe me I know that's the truth. The problems will not go away by enacting more laws. We must ENFORCE the laws that are already on the books.

Problem is by initiating legislation and beating their chests shouting how they are going to enact laws against this or that it make it look like the sorry-assed politicians are doing something. Well, I guess they are doing something. They are justifying their jobs.

So more kids are killed in Bathtubs by drowning and more kids are assaulted and beat with baseball bats per year. So where are the bans on Bathtubs and baseball bats?
