I'm even more impressed with the SP-1 now....

Cheep, reliable, efficient...and water proof...HA!
Now if they only start making water proof paintball shells.

They already have videos of a gun like that... but strangely the gun I'm thinking of uses a valve system from 1991, and is able to withstand more abuse along with high rates of fire. .. but what could it be?

That was my point with my comment about Tom Kaye sueing Smart Parts(#5 of this thread). Tom did this demo on video, back in 2001, when the Level 10's came out.

Does that some Gun you are thinking of Cost less then $160?
Does it has select rates of Fire?
Does it have a No Chop Bolt System?

How much does it cost again... NEW?

And where will this gun of yours be five years from now! Will it still operate FLAWLESSLY? Will it still work in five years with only simple cleaning and oiling?

Yes, it has the ORIGINAL No-Chop-Bolt-System, called the LEVEL 10.
It DOES have select rates of fire if you have an E-Mag... The E-Mag will even work if the battery DIES! How about your SP-1?

REMEMBER, You get what you pay for....

I'm not a fan of smart parts as a company, but this is a very well done viral marketing campaign.
I do think if would be hilarious if Tom Kaye managed to put together a lawsuit.
