Not defending anyone here, but my '91 L7 stuff would make a nice soup of all this thin walled shell paint you see these days. Hell, it chopped probounce without even trying. L10 = genius. L7 = Why I dont trust mags. Of course cockers pretty well sucked back then too (with the occassional exceptions).
Im looking pretty hard at the SP1 for my 10yr old kid -- Im tired of maintaining his '98ish cocker and it is too big and bulky. His Bruiser (Spyder clone) also gets pretty erratic velocity wise. SP1 looks like a decent alternative - at least in the vids. Maybe SP stole the ideas, but I like the outcome so far. Hey Smart Parts : how about send me one on eval?

I have a gun still swiming around in the river behind the field, it's a spyder a kid brought in to be fixed and it was terminal, after about 2 hours of working on it I sugested to the youngster to drown it and use a rental where he could play. These people don't understand you cant play in the sand with your marker, I did see it pop it's head up about a week ago wanting someone to feed it some more o rings ha ha

Thumper, I talked to a gent this week end a bit when I helped him tech his SP1. He lost a screw out of the ASA block, nothing really to it. If it was, someone else would have been teching it
I had really thought about going for a Cocker or Mag. I still may go for a Mag later on, but all the techs I know keep telling me to stay away from the Cocker because like you said, you are constantly working on them to keep them shooting properly. Its out of my depth, so I listen to them. |

Update:
Many of our dealers have requested a DVD of our SP1 and Vibe videos that were made showing off the Vibe and Sp1 to play in their stores. I have now uploaded them to YouSendIt - Send large files - transfer delivery - FTP Replacement. Just click on that link to download all the videos in a .zip file and then you can burn them to DVD, or even play them straight from your computer. This link is only valid for 14 days, and it is about 320 megs. So make sure you are not trying to download it on a dial up. If you do not have the means to burn DVD’s, then please contact your sales representative and we will try to get you one. I only have so many that we can do and send out which is why we are doing it this way. If you are unfamiliar with our videos, I have included the press release below that I had sent out earlier. Played yesterday with my SP-1 with a 16 inch Tactical barrel. Shoots on a string. Can't wait to bench fire it and map the grouping.
