CFOA Experience DVD

Every once in a while a company comes around that completely takes over a certain area of an industry. This is the case with DerDer Paintball Products and mainly their video productions.

Not since PUSH has one company such an effect on how paintball videos are filmed, produced, shot, and released. The style and angles that Rob and Matt, DerDer Founders and producers, use are matched by none and imitated by dozens of small production companies that have sprung up since the release of DerDer's groundbreaking video 300FPS.

DerDer does it again, this time in cooperation with National Paintball Supply, DYE, Mantis, and The CFOA. DerDer recently released this DVD, The CFOA Experience, covering a few events from this seasons CFOA events.

The video opens with clips from each event, this is the same action you are accustomed to seeing in all of the DerDer Videos....right off the bat Matt and Rob's style shows through as they capture intense bunker moves and action that is typical of the hardcore and dedicated style of play found in the CFOA and in the south.

The video is then broken up by event, action is found all the way through and there is not a bad moment in the film.

Not to be forgotten of course are the sometimes hilarious on field screw ups and mistakes made by some of the teams at the events.

This video is worth your time whether you play the CFOA or not. If you don't play the CFOA you can have a respect for this wonderful league after this video, and if you do play in the league chances are you will see yourself.

And hell...any video with Larry Motes in it is worth watching.

Im torn between going to watch the CFOA finals this weekend or practice with the team.

We got this video in the store not long ago. Excellent footage but I am not that impressed with the music. Derder has by far best camera and editing crew for their movies. I still do not think this comes close to 300FPS though.
