Here is my take on all of this. You should have the option for those with the rentals to go out and have fun all on their own if they choose. I personally have done it at a field I worked at. But some of the other kids wanted to play with the "BIG KIDS" and went in to a game with Tippman a-5s e grips and shockers out the wa zoo.. Granted they didnt kill as many people (Maybe) but they had fun. A good person will never over shoot someone intentionally but if your hit get out quick. Now as for limiting the rate of fire. As a field I feel that is not good for buisiness if you get people who buy Gear at your fields store Guess what that New Fancy Black heart board the 15 yr old bought from you for 100 dollars >.. He didnt buy it because it is easyier to turn on he bought it to shoot faster. Now you tell the same kid before he buys that board that he will not be able to use that fancy hopper and fancy firing modes he Most likely wont buy it. 100 dollars you didnt get.. then when he runs out of paint in 20 minutes because accuracy by volume is his thing he goes to buy another case.. whats that more money.. I know no all of you are in it for the money but C mon... Let them run what they brung.. I personally shoot semi only at approx 10 to 12 bps .fast enough for me.. I have been shot out by the best.. I have even been shot out by a kid with a rental 98 that was sitting still and poped me when I was 20 feet away. So let skill provale and let people do waht they want to do. .. Shoot I started with a 98 when everyone else was using rt/E mags I never complained.. and the R/t mags can shoot 22 bps with the right hopper..

i just hope we get an honest, no BS assessment of this situation as it progresses.

i still feel, bottom line, its a kick in the gym bag to current CUSTOMERS, aka Paintball players, in order to make PAINTBALL more cumfy cozy for noobs. you are taking away part of the game so noobs will feel less intimidated. i pray none of my local fields do this. it wouldn't even affect me, as i often play pump, but i like to think, i like to hope that my local field owners have a little more respect for me than that.
