JRNY Info from NXe

A Letter from the President of Nxe on JRNY Loader

To all customers:

I hope you are all well. It has been a while since our last update and we wanted to let everyone know what the latest update is on JRNY as well as a few other things happening here at NXe.

As I had mentioned during my last update we did find some software problems on the first shipment and rejected the entire shipment. Let me stress to all of you the importance to NXe not only to build the best product in the industry but also to stand behind our products on the good days as well as the bad days. In business we all have good days and bad. The difference between NXe and most companies is that more companies will ship the bad and the leave their dealers and consumers to have to deal with the problems and send product back to be repaired or replaced. NXe was not built on this mindset. NXe was built on the mindset that our customers, whether dealers or consumers will be satisfied that the product they have purchased. That satisfaction transcends across the quality of the product, the complete satisfaction that the product you purchased was a fair and good value for your hard earned money. That every customer whether big or small is treated with the respect and is appreciated for their support of NXe. Should a customer have a problem with any of our products we will stand behind them and they will be treated the same exact way we too want to be treated as consumers and customers. This is not a promise, but rather a commitment from each and every member of the NXe team.

In regards to the JRNY we have been working very hard to correct the problem we have found. All of our test data and corrective action reports have been sent to our Hong Kong office as well as late night conference calls so the entire team can get on the phone and discuss our findings with theirs. Our team of engineers has been working on not only fixing the problems, but also on other product enhancements that we felt would better the product. In saying that we have decided to make some mechanical modifications which are in progress as we speak. We are scheduled to be testing the first modified samples in the next few weeks and will keep you posted.

We have seen some of the comments and remarks on the web sites. The "my local store told me." Let me put that to rest. We have not given any information to the market at all since our last update and that includes the dealers and the consumers. Unless you hear from NXe directly it is just rumor and has no legs to the story you may be hearing.

Let me stress that although many of you are upset with the delay and we understand that, from our side we too are not happy about this. We have lost a fair amount of revenue and profits because of this delay. As I said earlier it is not easy to get the NXe brand put onto a product unless it meets and exceeds our fundamental beliefs as a company. That is why we are NXe and no one else is. Let me also say that we will not be selling the JRNY at Huntington Beach, it will not be ready. On the initial launch when they do come in the JRNY will only be available at your local paintball shops and online retailers. We will not offer the JRNY for sale through the NXe website for a minimum of 60-90 days. The decision was made by our sales team. We all know that many companies in the industry are having a hard time and many shops are hurting. This allows us to fully support our dealers and to let them make all of the profits for their stores and businesses. I ask all of you to support our local shops. They need your support more now than ever.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We hope to see all of you at Huntington Beach next week.

Thanks,
John Bosch
NXe

This shows true quality. I myself have worked in manufacturing and that is awsome that these guys are putting all this into a loader. I am a hardcore dye fan but when it comes to holding those lock lids I only trust NXE they are the best in the sport and I have had trouble with 1 pack and they sent me a knew one right away with out even needing the old one back. I sent it but they didnt require a tracking number or anything.. THanks NXE and junkie for posting ..

To add... I took the tech course on this loader. It is quite good. I can't wait to get mine. I will do a review here.

It is not often that a manufacturer will delay a new product like this. They usualy send it out and like he said, let the consumers and retailers deal with the problems. We have all seen this happen with several other pb products over the years. Sometimes our perception of a company relies on how the local shop deals with the problems we as individuals have with the so called new and upcoming equipment. I have been unsatisfied before with the quality and/or performance of new stuff before. Whether it has malfunctioned or just was not capable of the performance the manufacturer described, my personal opinion of it was based on how the shop owner dealt with my issues. Some are better at that than others, just like some products are better. I have been happy with some stuff, like my Halo, even when lots of others tell me they do not like or use them. Yes I have had problems, but no hopper is without fault. I use smart parts, like but do not love them, others despise them. As they say, to each his own.
I am relieved to see that NXe is waiting to release until they get some problems resolved. That one detail will make me lean towards buying one of them over another brand. I want another hopper, do not have a back-up, tells you how I can rely on my Halo. Opps, forgot I bought a clear Empire to use on my pump. Keep up the good work NXe, you will not falter with the pb community with the standard of quality you bring to the market.
