(PRWEB) February 19, 2005 -- Paintball Television Productions (PTP), finalized year long negotiations for a 41+ Prime Time TV show deal with the Superstation WGN at the National Association of Television Production Executives (NATPE) Conference last week in Las Vegas. The NATPE Conference is the biggest annual showcase of TV programming in the US.

The first five shows will highlight the development of the "World Paintball League" (WPL), a three conference professional Paintball league, comprised of 24 teams from across the US and Canada. Actual league play commences this Fall. The "Ultimate Arena Paintball League" (UAPL), is the minor league feeder system for the WPL and is comprised of a minimum of 216 teams at the AAA, AA, & A levels, which are located in every Demographic Marketing Area (DMA) in the US. The best of the UAPL players and teams will be showcased each week as they battle their way up towards the WPL.

Joining PTP President, Duke Hillinger, at the Conference were four time World Champion "Dynasty" Team Members, Oliver Lang, Alex Fraige, and Ryan Greenspan. They answered questions and did interviews along side the beautiful Heather Tindell at the Academy Entertainment Booth. The event filled week was topped off with the taping of a segment for "The Tonight Show" with Jay Leno. PTP will update you next week with the actual air time.

The first continent wide telecast for PTP will be on Saturday, March 26th at 7:00 p.m. CST, before the Chicago Bulls/Indiana Pacers game. Check your local cable or satellite provider for time and channel in your area/time zone.

5$ says the NPPL and PSP will become part of this sooner or later. If not, then their stupid. I can also see the NXL and WPL becomming like the AFC and NFC of the NFL. SWEEEET!!!
