the very first sentence in the article says paintball guns are sold as toys which is complete BS since most or all paintball markers on the side or in the manual say this is not a toy
and its funny that they have the one paintball gun in the background that is sold to kids under the age of 18 its the one on the news blue screen (correct me if im wrong but when my friends were 12 they bought 4 of them this was 4 years ago)

maybe if she would be more of a concerned parent, this wouldnt of happened. she should know, if your not wearing a mask, you shouldn't be habdling a paintball gun. and also, A TOY? Yeah right. you gotta be 18 with a valid ID to buy paintballs at walmart, so obviously a parent provided the paint. its here falt and she doesnt want to take the blame

Yea psyko, they all say not a toy and should be put up as such. WTF do some parents think? I have a pair of 6 year old twins next door and have to watch out for them when I shoot or we play at the hizzy, they tend to wander down to see the action, but have learned all about masks from me and if they want to watch I have a good supervised spot for watchers.

I am surprised that they actually got a field owner's opinion on this. If the numbers they stated are correct, 1200 severe eye injuries per year and 10 million players, then that is a 0.12% yearly eye injury rate. I wonder how other sports compare.

No, the real question is how many of these are to individuals on feilds or to players who obey the rules even in outlaw ball

The next time you hear someone ask, "What's the big deal with having a one nighter with a girl you barely know?", show them that article & remind them that it's a female like this that they might be making in to a mother of a mother....

I just get the feeling the dumb slut, and all of her friends, will vote for Obama because he's change they can believe in. And then "evil" paintball will get regulated...

Oh, Yeah: Where's the dad? Where's the dad? Where's the dad? Where's the dad?

Let's go ahead and put a restriction on super-soakers, airsoft guns, and basically anything that can shoot a projectile whether it be water or a lead bullet. How can you be so ignorant as to think that registering paintball guns and locking them up is going to prevent ANYTHING from happening. This didn't happen because there was a loaded marker laying around and a baby or toddler shot himself, this happened when the kids were playing and THEY made the mistake of taking their masks off while the marker didn't have a barrel condom on. This woman is like many other ignorant, mis-informed parents out there that just believe what the immediate message is, not what really happened and like everyone has been saying, she doesn't want to look like a bad parent.
