New East Coast 7 man Series!
New 7-Man series on East Coast
Dec 23 2004 [ Andy ] New 7-Man series on East Coast Following the success of the XPSL on the west coast, the East Coast now has a large series with large prizes as the EXP series kicks off in 2005 with a 7-Man NPPL Feeder curcuit. The event kicks off on March 5th at the NC State Fair Grounds and already has a list of big name sponsors. Check out the full official release below. Dec 23rd, 2004 – Announcing the Eastern Xtreme Paintball (EXP) Series In 2005 the EXP will launch as the East Coast’s premier 7-Man series. We are partnering with the XPSL to benefit from their experience and successes in creating and structuring our series. We also will work with the NPPL as a feeder series so our teams have a direction to go beyond the EXP Series. We have 5 events planned starting March 5th and 6th and running to October held in hot spots along the east coast. The Series will start off at the state fairgrounds in Raleigh, North Carolina, covering Richmond Virginia, Atlanta Georgia, Bowie Maryland, and finishing up in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Each of these venues are hosts to a vast amount of tournament playing teams, all of which are in dire need of a quality 7-Man event. Talks are also in the works with local fields to host affiliate events that will earn seed points for teams in the race for the season championship rings! The EXP Series will not be just another local series. All of the events will be held in quality venues with a trained paid reffing staff. All of the refs will be NPPL certified as required by the NPPL for being a feeder circuit. At each event we will award prizes totaling between $35,000 and $50,000. Our sponsors have stepped up big time and it’s just the beginning. Media sponsorships have also been established with magazines such as Paintball Sports International and PGI who have massive newsstand distribution both in the US and abroad. Websites such as Forceofnature.com have also come on board which has over 40,000 registered members so you will be able to see live coverage online as well as read accounts of the events on news stands. Below are the dates for the 2005 season with locations to be announced as the venues are contracted. Mar 5-6 - EXP Series #1 – Raleigh, NC Apr 30 – May 1 - EXP Series #2 – TBA Jun 11-12 - EXP Series #3 - TBA Aug 20 -21 - EXP Series #4 – TBA Oct 1-2 - EXP Series #5 – Myrtle Beach, SC The EXP Series would like to thank the following sponsors as well for stepping forward and welcome any inquiries from companies or media who wish to join us for the upcoming season. Zap, PMI, Dye. WGP, Kingman, Powerlyte, Mantis, Eclipse, WDP, Crossfire, FirstCall Paintball.com, J&J, Check-it, Generation E, and X-Ball Podium Series Paint. from www.flagpull.com my thoughts: will be overcommed by the CFOA...Bad idea...mabey the west coast, but CFOA rules over here...and there are talks of 7 man CFOA. |
