National Paintball Supplies released their newest Paintball Gun at the Shot Show today. Called the "Evolt" is doesn't use CO2, Nitrogen or Compressed air to propel the ball. It uses only a battery!

Other specs are; 6-7 BPS, 600 shots off a battery before needing to be recharged, battery recharges in less than 90 minutes, each battery has a lifetime of 200,000 plus shots, velocity lock, adjustable velocity from 220 fps to 300 fps, Cocker barrel threads, weight is about 5 pounds without hopper and paint, MSRP is about $250 and they will be available for Christmas 2005.

I like it. A totally revolutionary gun, what a novel concept. This would do wonders for those outlaw players out there who don't have ready access to an air source.

i gotta admit. I like the concept. I can't wait to see one up close. But PBCWorker makes a valid point====That thing looks like a rifle. Make sure you don't go running around town with that thing laying around.

looks a little bit big for me, and only 600 shots, you could get more using a regular air tank

But i wonder what kind of battery? carry multiple? like 1 in gun 1 on side and 1 back at camp and im sure it looks accurate and all you wont need more than 600 shots a day like a pump? i like how its like with the bullpup style too well i think its bullpup style :P o well it looks kinda cool

yea especially one time when i was walkin down the street with one of the scenario guns.....oooo i was put in handcufs so quick.....the gun i had was a sim-5 :icon16:
