Yeah, restricting the sale so only 21+ can buy them wouldn't help in this case... I don't know what should happen.

21 and up to buy without adult supervision wouldn't be that bad.
As long as it was restricted to buying. You should be able to have the gun in possesion without direct supervision. That would allow regular ballers to go to and from the field on their own, while still imposing more responsibility on the purchasing process. For new markers at least.
