Got a scoop/event?
So I was digging around on the internet the other day, doing whois searches and the like, just to see if there have been any interesting paintball people trying to make interesting paintball websites.
I was a little surprised to see Ed Reiker's name attached to a new registration, splatnation.com. Further searching indicated that he'd also registered the .net and .org extensions as well, to cover his bases. Now, why would one of the owners of one of the largest forums websites on the 'net want to change the name? PBNation is huge...it's one of the biggest forums websites period, much less for paintball.
Is Reiker just doing what alot of guys do, buy cool sounding names in the hope that someone will buy them in the future, or is there something else going on?
An email has been sent by yours truly to Tony Reiker, the main poo-bah at PBNation, and we'll see if he responds or not.
