REDZ INTERNATIONAL GOES RETRO

Redz International, a leading manufacturer of quality paintball products, marker upgrades, and gear bags, continues to show its commitment to scenario, military simulation, and long-format paintball games with high-quality offerings in several of its product lines.

Carmen “The Angry” Borgia elaborates on the latest additions: “My paintball career started in the woods – at 5-7 bps, with no face or ear protection, sticker bushes, crawling, stealth, dirt, broken paint in your power feed tubes, paint that felt like marbles, and all the goodness that was paintball back in the early nineties. But we loved it. That was what paved the way for paintball to be what it is today. It is an inescapable fact that paintball began in the woods, and that most of the public’s perception of paintball still rests on the military-style cues that paintball took on, in its formative years. Now with the increased profile that scenario and long-format games have garnered thanks in part to teams like Pub Crawling, Horror Show, and MBP Militia, we realized that it was important to diversify our product line and include gear made just for them.


For protection, Redz has camouflaged padding in the form of its all-new Camo Chest Protector and its specially-patterned Camo Neck Pad. Both will keep you comfortable throughout the day and take the sting out of being hit (that is, if people can see you).
With the introduction of the 2007 eNVy Gear, Redz had stealth in mind from the very beginning, as demonstrated by the Rip-Stripe pattern on its Jerseys, Packs, Pants, Headbands, and Gloves. And Redz added a fourth color scheme to the line, too, specifically for the woods: a stylish and subtle blend of woodland colors. The same patterns and colors found their way onto the Tank Covers as well.
For marker upgrades, Redz had already been making barrels for the ever-popular Tippmann™ 98 marker, but when demand for barrels that fit the Tippmann™ A-5 marker began flooding into the office and clogging its e-mail system, Redz decided to port its entire 6-Piece Pepper Stick kit over to the Tippmann™ A-5 marker, for the ultimate sniping setup. Redz also ensured that the Ion™ marker – another favorite standard among tournament and scenario players alike – receive similar attention, with a four-piece Pepper Stick Kit, and an olive-colored body kit with camo highlights in the grip.


Last but not least, Redz added woodland camouflage to its best-selling Tranzport Seriez Small and Large Gear Bags. The camouflaged gear bags make stashed ammo and equipment caches much harder to find by the enemy in a long-format scenario game, and their stylish looks off the field have been turning heads ever since their inception.
