Special Ops Paintball Proudly Announces 2008 Sponsorships

Posted by MOATI at Spec Ops:

First of all, I'd like to say Thank You to all the teams that expressed interest in being sponsored by Special Ops. The response was overwhelming and it was extremely challenging to narrow the field down to what we did. I am confident though that all of the teams that we have chosen will represent us well through-out the 2008 season. Make sure everybody gets out to the events these great teams will be attending and play alongside them or against them....but play!

So...here we go....

We chose 8 Recon Teams literally from all over the world.

They are...

Yankee Division Paintball (Northeast US)
Team Krisis (Eastern US)
Team BeBop (Eastern US)
Strength & Honor (Northwest plus events across the country)
Black Sheep Squad (Northeast US)
Team Green Devils (Midwest, central, and Great Lakes)
Adrenaline A (Canada)
Section 8 (Australia)

And we chose 4 Elite Teams.

They are...

Tri-State Special Operations Command (TSSOC)- Northeast US
The Tippinators- Canada and Northeast US
Xtreme Fanatics- Southeast US
Team Forest Fire- Northwest US plus other events through-out the country

Finally, we chose one "Special Ops Rock Star" for an individual sponsorship...

Ed "8-Ball" Mentz! He was our very first Elite player and now he's our very first "Rock Star".

Congratulations everyone!!!!

Are there no Southern U.S. teams worthy of a sponsorship?

Probably something pretty sweet, if they are only sponsoring 8 teams.

Though 8 scenario teams is quite a few players.. so I dunno.

"Xtreme Fanatics - SOUTHEAST US"

Unless I'm mistaken this would qualify as a Southern US team...

Glad to hear about Krisis and Bebop getting the sponsorship from SpecOps. Two deserving teams.
