Special Ops Paintball Restructures Its Organization

SPECIAL OPS PAINTBALL RESTRUCTURES ITS ORGANIZATION
Gives Special Projects their own ?Day in the Sun?

Special Ops Paintball, this week, has undergone a major restructuring of its business organization. In the midst of record high revenues, both in retail sales and wholesale sales, SpecOps has decided to spin off several key projects, turning them in to subsidiary organizations.

Several successful components of Special Ops are being handed over to trusted team members in order to give those businesses their own ?day in the sun.? These components include Recon Magazine, the Scenario Paintball Players' League (SPPL) and Elite Weekend. Each of these projects is being formed into its own organization, headed up by familiar names. Chris Serfustini will run the wildly successful Elite Weekend. Jayson Nielson will continue to man the helm of the growing SPPL, and well-known paintball figure Dawn Allcot, along with Jayson Nielson, will take charge of Recon Magazine.

Greg Bishop, General Manager of Special Ops Paintball, remarks, ?Special Ops is absolutely excited to be at the point where Recon, SPPL and Elite Weekend are ready to stand on their own and we can intensify our focus on the rapidly growing demands of designing, manufacturing and selling the greatest paintball gear on the market. This reorganization will allow Special Ops to focus more acutely on order fulfillment, product development, and exceptional customer service, while continuing to bring together paintball players through the Special Ops Brigade.?

?Special Ops creates so many wild-and-crazy endeavors in the paintball industry," notes co-founder Jayson Orvis. "From time-to-time, SpecOps will need to send these great projects off to become their own, stand-alone entities. No doubt, this isn't the last time we'll see SO create great projects then eventually turn them into their own businesses.?

Aint that the truth. From a few guys to THE premier organization in paintball. You have to give them props for turing SpecOps into what it is. And I am glad to see Dawn is getting the charge slot over Recon. Any lady with her own tank should be the editor over an all scenario magazine.

I love the idea that Spec Ops has built there business up so well...They are making money from us offering previously unavailable products.
Infact there sellig so much they can't keep certan products on the shelves.

As far as there web goes it leaves me unimpressed as to there "Follow the Rules or Die" attitude.
Unlike PBJunkie.com which is a much more forgiving enviroment for people to post and have fun...

They just have a fear of it turning into another PBNAtion. Its hard to get forums that are nice and mellow like Junkie. The only other ones I think are as laid back as here is WARPIG and the A5OG. But these forums are only as good as the members and moderators, and these three have a top notch members/moderators list.
