The article made it sound like it was the grip frame, that someone saw from a distance while the kid was showing a friend, with the grip inside the book bag. If you see that at a distance, it is POSSIBLE that some "nervous-nellie" paniced and ran to the Principle.

But NO WAY should the kid be punished except to be admonished by his PARENTS for not using good judgement in bringing the grip frame to school.

With all the idiots making snap judgements in today's school systems, I find it amazing that High Schools have sponsored paintball teams.
