U.t.g. Scenario Paintball Vest Users Read Here!

hey guys. i know i see alot of the u.t.g. scenario paintball vests being used by players when we hit the big games. it is a great vest at an affordable price, but....

we, southern discomfort, are sponsored by leapers. they make a variety of tactical oriented products and have breached out into the gaming world with airsoft and paintball tactical products like vests and pod packs and the such. we have been using thier vest for about a year now exclusively.

we just got home from bastogne @ bearclaw. this game was huge and the action was fierce. the vest was put through extreme stress on the field. out of 10, 2 ripped at the pod pack. not the stitch, the material itself. thank god it wasnt mine or i would have raised hell.

so basically, i am going to ask you guys who use this vest a couple questions:

1. have you guys ever had any problems with this vest?

2. what would you like to see improved on this product?

when we got home from the game i called my rep. he said, this vest has been out for about 2 years and they are thinking of making a newer one. they asked if we would give them input by basically having my team address what they would like to see improved on with this product. we are going to help them design a whole new and improved high quality scenario vest while maintaning the affordable price that beats out other manufacturers. and then we are gonna field test it for them under extreme play.

now i would like to not only get input from my team, but other vest users who would like to continue to use this product. let me know about anything, no matter how insignifigant you think it is, that you would like to see improved upon.

i know one improvement the Pod holder in the back is to floppy. because of the Tank holder strap. That should could be a lil bit more stable and closer to the back of the vest for Profile and reach issue i have, also maybe instead of a 2 Velcro Pod holder 4 and no expandable strap things i hate those...lol I ordered me the once from Flurry and try to make me something up here the next few Days....lol

Other then that i love that Vest

i agree about the tank pouch and the elastic pod pouches. i hate elastic pouches. my fat ass cant reach back there to put the pods back in.

so no elastic patches, all velcro. ok. and a more stable tank pouch. no prob.

cool. we were thinking about trying to make everything even pouches, velcro removable. that way you could add pod holders were the tank pouch used to be. or say medics and demo guys can take all of it off and go light.

I have a marpat UTG, love it....

Two main concerns....

1. Shoulder straps. Make the UTG have a loop adjustment at the shoulders similar to the RAP vest.

2. Since the rear tank pouch can be removed, allow us to buy another two pod system that can fit in that spot.

I really dont have much to say bad about mine. I know the tank pouch is floppy. I know the loops on the back pods do snap off. I do love mine.
