I agree. The judge and jury, if there is one, must way the totality of the evidence at hand. if there is none to support the allegation, then a verdict of not guilty must be entered. However, if there is enough and the judge sees there is enough to convict, the case will continue and it is left up to the jury. In this circumstance, all it takes is one juror to say yes/no in disagreement with the rest to have a not guilty. Our judicial system is a good one however faulable it may be, but it is far from being perfect.

My Wife is a teacher, and students lie about her, it seams to be the norm today with our children not knowing the consequeces of there actions...

It all boils down to Morals not being stressed buy society...
