Xtreme Woodsball League Southeast Championship.

I just got wind of a new series: "Xtreme Woodsball League Southeast Championship"

This is to be a five man format woodsball tournament not a scenario game. Points will be assessed as to flag pulls during game and at game end. Points will be assessed as to opposing players eliminations. Fields will be set up with three flag points one each located at each starting point and one triangulated point in the field. This series will be based on seeded points from first to last. seeded points will be accumulated for an overall total (lowest seed score dropped) Highest seed score will be the series winners. Trophies will be awarded at each leg of the series for first through third.

The XWL series will be a pre-registration event with 1/2 being applied at least one week prior to event and balance of $75.00 paid on game day for a total of $150.00 registration will be limited to 30 teams. More to come soon on PBjunkie.com and mousetrap radio show.

Almost seems like Old school world cup .. when it was held in the woods with brass eagles and mags.. Man those were the days .. when I wasnt even old enough to play..

I thin this style is what A LOT of people were thinking about when talks of the Tactical Ten Man started up a while back. a speedball style tournament in the woods. I like the idea and i know it got a bunch of tournament players excited originally but when everyone found out that it was gonna be all scenario'd up and tactical and milsim and stuff it brought everyone's hopes down. This will raise the interest again and hopefully it is somethign that will work out. If they ever held one around here i'd definitely try to play.
