I might be able to help you, but it depends on what the project is and your time frame. I can do a lot but I'm short on free time. I'm more game for creating something new, rather than, say, altering a gun on a mill, because that's so permanant and we'd need to be together to make sure you'd be happy.
If it's paintball related, there's a guy I know that used to play on our team. I think he's on PBjunkie some and he goes by the name of Smurf. He may be your best bet. I think I remember seeing a post where he said he could do mill work. He's a nice guy and I believe he would do you right. BTW-- he does gun annodizeing-- maybe you seen his ads. Look for him-- he's not hard to find.

Well, if you have or can make a decent sketch of what you want, preferably with dimensions, even if they are rough dimensions, and you are willing to send them to me, post that here or PM me. Going by what you've said so far, I might very well be able to help you, although I'm not familiar with the item you described.
I can read most file types at work and a few at home. If it's a hand sketch, then the best thing usually is to scan it in to your computer, then "save as" a PDF file. Having done that, anyone can read it that you want to send it to, becasue they are free PDF viewers (Adobe) out there that work very well. A good last resort is to take a digital picture of the sketch and then email that. If you have anything beyond that, we're way ahead of the game.

Bracket one is the smallest,
This will fit the outside of a slide coupler on 2" pipe so about 2.5" for the large part. The small part is 1/8th threaded. Braceket 2 fits the outside of a 2.5" Schedule 40 Tee and has a 3/8th threaded hole Bracket 3 fits outside of a 2.5" schedule 40 Tee and is not threaded but holds the back of a cylinder. If possible, i would like to imrpove on his design some. He has no way to tighten those down, and they CAN not move... So i was thinking of adding bolts in the Side like a connecting rod for an engine. I would prefer to send you the pieces so you can measure. As the only thing i am exact on is the 1/8 threaded and the 3/8 threaded. |
