I'd say that its a difficult question that not many of us are even qualified to answer, as only a small number of us has participated in at least one of the major producers games. Generally, we all have a favorite producer and tend to swing in that direction. Geographic and financial considerations also have a great deal to do with players ability to sample the buffet. There are a lot of diverse producers out there with a lot of dedicated players. I don't know if putting a tag on one of them as "best" is quite fair, as each dedicated group feels "their" producer is the best. I would say, along the same lines as Rod, that any producer who puts on a fair game with the interest of the players in mind at a fair price would qualify as a member of the BEST club...

Greatest scenario producer

My team and I love ALL scenario producers because they must put these elaborate games together for the love of the game-I don't think any of them are getting rich doing it.

I bunk'ed a tank in the village.

Maybe not rich, but I think several are "doing well"---good enough to not have to put 40 + hours in every freaking week at some company that don't give a hoot about you--like most of us.

But the money they or field owners make doesn't bother me. I'm happy for them and they provide a great service for the rest of us.

The only people I really don't understand is the people who figure out a way to make money off of paintball and then get so busy with that, well they virtually stop playing paintball. I have a hard time dealing with people who love money above all else, but that's just me.

The best is the one that gives back to the players. The best one cares what people think about the game & listens.
The best in the one who will go out of his/her way to make things go smooth.

Thats who is the best.

i think the question itsself leaves to much room for controuversy. but if the question was asked what elements do value most in a producer...

i personaly like the producers that make it a point to know the feild they have chosen to run a scenario on. it seems to be a more sucessfull event when the game is right for the field that is being played.

i also value producers that arrange a good balance of attendance, in games where there are too many for the field to handle it causes to much of a potential for incedents.

as for a favorite producer i have had the opportunity to play games hosted by a few different producers, and i have to say that all of them brin something unique to the table. it gives us the opportunity to play different structures, which i think is great.
