help start a new team

have been wanting to start a team for the last year would some one give me suggestions on how to go about doing this

Scout out some other anxious players to get in the tournament scene, and make sure they are willing to drop cash for the good of the team. Enter local tournament circuits first, def. Also, have kids who are willing to pay their own registration fee and paint. Sponsorships are insanely hard to come by with no experience, yet some teams manage to, lucky I guess. and best of all, Have FUN!

As far as sponsorships go, there are a few readily available. I'm not talking a free ride, but a way to get stuff at wholsale prices. Several companies have a deal where you use their equipment, and buy it directly from them for wholesale. Saves a good bit of cash, especially if they sell paint too. My team does that with Paintball Junkies, we get paint and everything at a great price.
