It's simple to determine if the pin valve is operating. Screw the tank on the ASA then remove it. When you unscrew the tank, do you have back pressure? If you do, and you get the normal "psssht" as the CO2 escapes, then your pin valve is OK and the problem lies in your marker. However, with an exception, if you can screw it right on and off with no resistance, the pin valve may not be working on THIS gun. It could be the valve OR the nub inside the ASA that depresses the pin. If any of this confuses you, TAKE YOUR GUN TO SOMEONE WHO KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING! A shop tech or airsmith can probably diagnose your problem inside of three minutes and save you a lot of trouble. Gook luck!
