check and make sure there's nothing blocking the valve..and try posting this in the Spyder section under markers...the real spyder techs on here can help more than I can. Try pming Spyderman84...he's a master spyder guy. Good luck. I say post in the spyder section because the orion is a spyder like marker. Good luck.

When you twist in the tank onto the ASA you should hear it charge, there will be a Pssssst for one or two seconds.
Kinda sounds like your Co2 tank may be overcharged. Try depressing the pin valve with something point it away from your face when you test it...if it doesn't depress then on the side of the valve there is a safety blow off, you can loosen it slightly, just enough to let some of the pressure off. Again do not take all the way off, this will decompress the tank and make the screw in safety blow off a projectile and could severely injury you or bystanders. The pin valve could be damaged if this is the case do not under any circumstances try to take the valve off your self. Take it to a qualified tech. |

Im pretty sure its not the tank its fairly new. I put the tank in my 98 custom and it worked perfectly. And when I first put the tank into the Orion it didnt pressurize liek its supposed to. Im thinking it may be a blocked valve. Im not sure

and make sure your bolt is cleaned and lubed...it might be dirt in the tube that the bolt sits..mine wouldn't cock or fire when it was dirty..but that might have been just mine too...just a thought.

The ASA may not be setting the pin valve in far enough, you should hear Co2 pressurizing the system. Even if the marker valve has trash in it. When you take the tank off does Co2 escape. If it doesn't then the pin isn't being depressed enough to charge the system.

I think I might know what your problem is. Some Co2 tanks have different length pins in the valve and when the pin is too short you won't get any air.

This is true and just because it's new means nothing i bought 11 draxus tanks last year and had to send 8 back due to bad valves.

These type of shraider pin valves are adjustable but a qualified tech needs to do the job. It may cost more than a new tank to have it fixed. If you let a tech adjust it make sure he has your marker as well. ![]() |
