I liked the article. "I am not really sure I agree 100% with this article." I don't think anyone expects you to agree 100% with any article. I believe cheating is pretty common in paintball, whether it be speedball or woods/scenario play. In speedball, the cheating comes because if you get hit, you don't come back with a respawn 5 minutes later. In woodsball, cheating/wiping would come from the lack of refs and how it is so much easier to wipe in woodsball than speedball. Every traditional sport is well officiated, and so is speedball I believe, but its impossible to actually put eyes on all players in a scenario game. But I think a parent should get involved with whatever their kid is doing, because a child can pick up curse words in a number of places - baseball, football, paintball, it doesn't matter.
So I guess I agree with a lot of the article, and yes it can be applied to many sports. But this is a paintball site, and thus it is applied to paintball. Cheers

I hate to say it but I was one of those dads. Many, many years ago when my son was playing soccer, I heard another parent yelling, Take the Gook B_ _ _ ard out. To which I had to reply that I did not appreciate what he said about my son and by the way since I am his father what he just said technically does not apply. Well one thing led to another, which I am ashamed of today…however the good thing about all this, the kids playing never heard a thing or saw a thing, but yet if knew that then I would have ignored the whole thing… Morale of the story, you never know how you will react until you are faced with ignorance…
