Magazines

I must admit that I like to read paintball magazines, but I found that most of them cover speedball more than anything else. Which one would anyone here recommend, for someone interested more in woodsball and recball, even the occasional scenario?

PB2X, Recon, Jungle, Splat, Paintball Sports. With the exception of Recon and Jungle, they all cover a multitude of regimens. PB2X, as of late, has gone to a flip book format where one side of the magazine is tourney and flip it over to get the rec/scenario coverage. While it's not the coverage we all would like to see, it's much better than it was. Write the editors and tell them what you'd like to see. Write the advertisers and tell them you saw their product in magazine X and would love to see more. Have fun!

Right now PB2X seems to be the best woods format with the upside magazine thingy but in reality I never buy PB mags anymore. There is so little content compared to flashy ads and then on top of that I have to pay for the mag and then wade through all the adds. I can read a PB mag while waiting at the cash register to pay for it.

Sorry my PB journalist friends but it's true

Next time you go somewhere on a trip, carry a copy of Splat and take a picture holding it, I was in the July, August issue in front of Stonehenge, cool to open up a mag and see yourself!

Now THAT is cool!

And Grendel, that's a mild statement, compared to SOME of the stuff I've been hit with. Hehe-heh! To each his own, Bro. No offense taken.

Well if your a Barns&Nobel frenquenter as my wife and I am you can get your favoriet mag of any kind and sit down with you coffie and read till the caffien wares off. They don't mind us reading the for sale magazines. Thats where I got my latest copy of PB2X. It was the only copy in the store, that says somethig to me. I walked up to the wife and said "Who do you suppose that is" refering to the picture of me with my sniper 2 in the FEAR artical.

I like PB2X, but it seems the speedball half of the mag is more like the speedball 2/3 or even 3/4. How is Recon magazine?
