Why do you think i have been pimping the fusion for so long?

Hopper+7 pods on a 45/45

over a Case on a 68/45.

118/45 on a remote. I could probably get to case/half

nope. its hpa ready man. but that 48/3000 aint gonna make it on that gas hog. if your rec ballin and have a scuba fill station your ok. but if your gonna big game with it, the 88/45 carbon fiber is a must. i know from experience. your gonna have to run response to keep up on the big game field with that marker and that really sucks air. i literally had to walk off field and refill after EVERY engagement i got into and that was on a 70/3000. i was gettin 5 or 600 rnds at most. unless you play "sniper" or whatever and dont do alot of intense engaging.

dude, before you buy anything, i would go to my local proshop or a friend and shoot at least half a case through each of the markers that had tied for my final decision. youll want to compare performance and efficiency. ive wasted soooo much money over the many years ive been ballin by purchasing stuff on a whim, or because it looked cool or because i heard so and so say it was the shiznit. i was like my old lady is now about buyin a car, "it looks nice, ill take it". now, i will take a minute to buy a new marker and actually go try them out. a big scenario game is a great place to actually field test stuff. i just get on here and hit a thread of a game i will be at and ask if anyone has whatever marker i am thinking about buying and if i can shoot it some.

just tryin to share some of my hard learned wisdom. god knows i had to learn the hard way.

Why don't you consider an A-5? Now that Tippmann is building them with the X-7 exhaust valve, only a few modifications can put you at the identical performance level as the X-7. You'll save a hundred bucks. Thats bucks you can put toward a larger HPA tank...

i had an a5 for the longest before i got the x7 and i cant tell a bit of difference performance wise. the a5 is smaller and the metal recievers give it a more realistic feel and sound. the x7's bulky, toylike, but not as heavy as it looks. i had an egripped a5 i payed 300 bux for and a m82a1 shrould i got for 45. then i paid 350 for an egripped x7 (i do love the mode toggle switch right on the grip), i got the g36 kit for it for an extra 150. i now shoot a mini which out performs the both of them i gave 280 for. i now say screw aesthetics and go for performance and efficiency. but i will say on the tippmanns behalf... i have owned my x7 for over a year and it has seen alot of crazy action. i have used it in several big games and it still sees alot of action as a loaner and rec game marker. i have never even so much as taken the recievers apart. all i have ever done is drop some oil in the asa and play. it operates flawlessly.

Sp1 and Bearclaw.

Ok everyone, first off thanx for all the info, and each and everyone one of you guys have been a great help. I watched a few vids from SP's website and that Sp1 just keeps pulling at me so I'm gonna go out and see if I can test fire one for myself. I'm just a woodsballer and hope to hit Bearclaw with my boys from Soddy in Oct. will be my first time playing there. The stories they came back with have fired me up. So with that outta the way from what I can tell a Sp1 will run me about $150. And now I'm wondering about a tank. So out of a $300 budget that leaves me with $150 for a tank now. What would be the best tank? And be easy guys because I really don't know jack about these tank sizes and stuff. Right now I have the 48/3000 HPA. Just wanna spend more time on the feild and not in the line for air. All in all I just wanna hit Bearclaw and be ready for the good time everyone talked about.

Havok hit it right on the head. I did the same thing, buy this, then that, then another not knowing what I wanted. Now after hitting some big games I know efficiency is one my goals, not fun running out of air or paint. I try to carry just enough paint to last for my air, sucks having to take a walk out without being hit. I usualy just take a hit so I do not have to go out just cause I ran out of something.
I am checking out the new ANS tanks with the myth reg, might be my next step, my 68/4500 crossfire is good, but I want another bottle, so why not step it up? Anyone have one yet? Lighter and more efficient, who would not want that?

X7 - good boat anchor at least it weighs enough to be used for one
Ion- Touchy but good especially with milsim kit
A 5 - Air hog but dependable and good for tanks and double troubles hire a Carrier for more air tanks.
Fusion - Reliable super air efficient super fast , all the modes , great warranty, shoots darts, I rate it in the top 3 customer service super.
