1. if you start the game friday morning, all the people with jobs will be late for the game.
2. if you run the game untill sunday at 8pm. all the people who dont live locally will be late to work. most scenarios start around 9-12 saturday morning and run till 12-3 sunday afternoon. you have to take into account scheduling when trying to pull off a decent turnout. 3. most scenarios run mission cards dropped at intervals of 20min to 1hr. if you try and base points on capturing and holding ground, may i suggest dropping mission cards. ex. blue team capture and hold point x for 20 minutes and retrieve a prop. red team gets the same card. this gaurantees that there will be action for that mission when they meet in the middle. if the mission cards are dropped at 20 minute intervals, lets say the next mission is to take and hold point y for 20 minutes. there is no way the team holding point x can get to point y very quickly. this means that the general must ration out his troops and squads effectively. timing is everything and it makes the whole team have to split up into squads instead of moving as 300 or so players at a time. 4. use props. this lets the guys who arent good at or dont like to just go gunfighter have something to do. they can retrieve props. not everybody likes to be on the front or can afford to shoot up 10 cases of paint like me! use the props for points, instant respawns, etc. 5. i would limit the ability to raise a flag at an enemy base to an xo only. this makes for the team have to coordinate and keep the xo alive long enough to get to the base, secure the ground and raise the flag. 6. if your going to use tanks, run some fuel cell missions. ex. place a simulated fuel cell or fuel card at a key point on the field. allow a tank to take the field when that fuel cell has been retrieved and returned to the cp. drop a mission card and let the two teams battle it out. these are just ideas and things i have seen from other well produced scenarios.

Thanks for the advice. I have thought about the change the time for the scenario and the days. I have thought about missions but havent been able to come up with any but you have given some ideas and I am going to see what I can do with it. Infact when I think of some missions I might post them to see what you guys think.
Thanks again.

Thanks for the article. That gave me a lot of ideas for mission objectives and they fit really well with map that I have been working on. I really like the photo one. That is a great way to get some good photos for the place. For like montages and things along that line.
I thank you guys for all the help.
