After reading comments by members I do not know I like to check out their Public profile to see if I can learn a little about who and where they are from, what their background is, but most leave nothing there why? Do you feel you have to hide this information? Hell if there was a space for it I'd even let you see my name (Jonathan Flint) in my Public Profile. I stand behind what I say whether I'm right or wrong never embarassed or scared to take credit for all the good and idiotic things I might say. To be honest I have little respect for comments made by "anonymous" commentators. I understand not publicly posting address, phone numbers, e-mail address, etc... but how about where you are from, what you do, etc...

Well that ends my rant maybe I'm nieve and release too much info, what are your thoughts?

I completely agree with you and the reason it was not mandatory in the first place was to make it as painless as possible to register and in return build the user base to help make PBjunkie.com a great place to visit and a valuable resource for the sport.

Some people are very private and I can respect that but I would hope that once you decide you would like to hang out here that you would take the time to at least put some information about yourself in the blanks on your profile so everyone can get to know you.

I couldn't agree more that you should stand by what you say and not be ashamed of what you wrote, but telling everything about yourself on the internet can be risky. There are sick people out there, that can and will do sick things. I'd say there is a very slim chance that some guy is going to do something with your information, but I still like to keep my info to myself.
