SmartParts to Discontinue the IMPULSE??
Rumors have been going around the impulse forums at www.pbnation.com People are saying that because of the ION the Impulse is going to be discontinued?? The thread which all started this is now 5 pages long, but i wanted to find the answer to this to really see if this was true. I mean come on, how could Smartparts get rid of one of the most successful mid-level electro guns ever made? When i think of the progression of a paintball player and their guns i think:
Tippman 98C then a Cocker, if they dont get eblade then... IMPULSE and finally some 1400$ gun/shocker or Trix. If your a paintball player, then you've heard about the Imp, if you havnt, then your not a player yet and know you are cause you have if your reading this. We must also remember that the ION is a 300$ gun and in paintball ya get what ya pay for. The ION will have its flaws in the long run, one of them being resale value, it will be horriable because its being sold off the shelfs like hot-cakes. So, as i can see, people are afraid of the ION taking over the Imp's place like the 03 Shocker did the 4x4 turbo, well it's not because the ION and the Imp are too different guns. Smartparts made a very good decision in making the ION. You can now go through a progression of SP guns as a pballer. 1st gun-ION 2nd-Imp 3rd-Shocker 4th-Nerve. So yes, the Imp may not be as popular as the ION will be in the future, but NO SP WILL NOT DISCONTINUE IT. god im just rambling on arnt i.......ok, got to stop posting at late hours where im not thinking about anything. |
